Participants will examine the key benefits of implementing Sheltered Instruction for ELs in all content areas, what SI should look like in classrooms and will develop a plan for implementing Sheltered Instruction strategies. Participants wil receive the book "ELLs in TX: What Leaders Need to Know" by John Seidlitz, Melinda Base, Monica Lara and Mary Martin.
